A youth was injured after government forces fired pellets at group of people who were attempting to approach the encounter site near Palhallan Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said the youth namely Ghulam Hassan,24, has been shifted to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment. There was no official confirmation.
Meanwhile, fierce gun battle started between militants and the joint team of army and police continued at Palhallan Pattan. Reportedly two militants are trapped.
Meanwhile, internet services have been suspended in Baramulla district by the authorities for security reasons.
